The McD’s do… Kaikoura, NZ

After a relaxing week in Auckland, then a fairly hectic week in Nelson for my dad’s wedding, the four of us decided to take some extra time on our road trip down to Christchurch and stopped over in Kaikoura for a day and night.

Kaikoura is a magical little seaside town located on the east coast of the South Island of NZ.  The local speciality is crayfish, and there are gorgeous little food trucks selling freshly caught cray, oysters, whitebait and other seafood, right on the water’s edge.

10 reasons why I haven't called you back

When I first became a mum, my ability to return phone calls diminished significantly. Since becoming a mum of two, the chances of me returning a phone call have dropped to practically zero.

Unless you leave me a message saying I have won a million dollars, or that my electricity is about to be turned off, your chances of hearing back from me without calling me back yourself are slim to none.

Sadly, this doesn’t just apply to service providers or sales calls; I rarely return even my closest friends’ phone calls, instead making do with replying via text message several hours/days/weeks later.
